Project-Based Voucher (PBV)
Subsidized housing is owned and operated by private owners who receive subsidies in exchange for renting to low- and moderate-income people. Residents pay a portion of the rent based on their income.
The Project-Based Voucher program provides rental assistance for households living in specific apartments. The tenant must live in a specified unit to receive assistance. Residents pay approximately 30% of their income toward rent and utilities.
